Fayette County Public Health invites residents to a meeting on Monday, March 2, to learn about cancer data specific to Fayette County and share ideas to improve cancer prevention and care. In‑person events will include discussion and a Q&A session.

Today, our staff is wearing red in honor of National Wear Red Day and to show our support for American Heart Month. February is a time to raise awareness about heart disease and remind everyone how important it is to care for your cardiovascular health.

Our teams are here to support those needs—addressing heart health concerns during clinic appointments, building stronger hearts together in our Rehab Department, and providing recovery and support through our Cardiac Rehab program.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers—and regular screenings and HPV vaccination are key to early detection and risk reduction. But awareness also means understanding how treatment and recovery can impact pelvic health and quality of life.
