❄️📢 All three clinics—Postville, Fayette, and West Union—will open at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2025 due to weather conditions. Both West Union and Oelwein Home Medical Supply locations will also be opening at 10 a.m.

The Emergency Department remains open 24/7 for your urgent care needs.

We hope everyone had a safe and merry Christmas!

We are excited to share the wonderful news of Owen Dawson’s arrival. Owen was born on December 8 to proud parents Kristina and Steve. He weighed 7 pounds and half an ounce and measured 19.5 inches long.

Owen joined his loving siblings Jackson (15), Kasey (10), and Riley (7).
This special delivery was made possible thanks to Dr. Zuercher and the incredible support of nurses Debbie, Katy, and Jenny.

We are truly thankful to be part of these meaningful moments now and throughout the year.

Spreading Holiday Cheer in Fayette County! 🎁
Our staff have truly embraced the spirit of giving through the Adopt-a-Family program, making Christmas dreams come true for local families.

With generous hearts, Kim Puls accepted donations thoughtfully collected and wrapped by Melanie Martin so each gift could be delivered to those in need this holiday season.

In this season of giving, Patty Potratz from Open Hands Food Pantry was joined by Tasha Massman and several other of our staff who gave their time on behalf of Emplify Health by Gundersen West Union to help serve the needs of local pantry. Additionally, these donated coolers will play a vital role in ensuring that perishable food items remain fresh and at the right temperature for those in need visiting the pantry this year.

Help is always appreciated by Open Hands Food Pantry - West Union and we encourage other community members to reach out directly for ways to contribute.

A major renovation of our Labor and Delivery Department coming soon—creating a more welcoming, home-like environment for families while improving efficiency for our care team.
