Shaving vs waxing

Which one is right for you?

Both remove hair, but they work very differently.

Shaving removes hair at the surface. It is quick and convenient. The results last roughly 1 to 3 days. It can also cause razor burn, irritation, or ingrown hairs.

Shaving is great for a fast fix, but maintenance is frequent.

Waxing removes hair from the root causing a longer lasting result (typically 3 to 6 weeks). Hair often grows back softer and finer over time. There is also less daily upkeep.

Waxing gives you longer-lasting smoothness and can reduce ingrown hairs when paired with proper exfoliation and aftercare.

If you struggle with irritation, shadowing, or constant stubble, waxing may be the better long-term option. If your skin is very sensitive or compromised, shaving may be the safer choice until your barrier is healthy.
