Medicare has introduced an important update to the Annual Wellness Visit (AWV). Effective January 1, 2026, providers can report G0136 separately when performing a standardized, evidence-based assessment of physical activity and nutrition during the AWV. The revised code descriptor also highlights specific frequency limits, making it important to follow the latest billing guidance for compliance.
