At Dinner Delights, we know the kitchen is more than just a place to cook. It’s where memories are made, traditions are carried forward, and love is served in every meal. But when you lose someone you love, even the simple act of making dinner can feel overwhelming.

I'm honored to offer The Next Course: A Culinary Grief Therapy Group. Rediscover connection, comfort, and confidence — one meal at a time.

Grieving the loss of a partner changes everything — including how we nourish ourselves. The Next Course is a 6-week culinary grief therapy class designed to support individuals who have lost a spouse or significant other and are learning how to cook, care, and connect in this new chapter of life.

Led by Andrea Gustafson, LISW of JMG Therapy & Counseling Services LLC, each session will explore how grief affects the brain and body, and offer practical tools to navigate daily life. Topics include mindfulness and grounding techniques, building a support system, asking for help, and redefining self-care and mealtime in the context of loss.

Alongside the therapeutic support, Andrea Love, owner of Dinner Delights, will guide participants in the kitchen—teaching how to scale down recipes, explore new meals, and find joy in cooking for one. Every week includes time for therapy, discussion, hands-on cooking instruction, and sharing a meal together.
