Smooth threads are placed under the skin in localized area to stimulate collagen production. Typical areas would include forehead, between the brows (11's), lips, and smile lines. Lifting threads capture the soft tissue to create a lifting effect; as the threads dissolve, collagen building is hopefully maintaining the lift.
