To all who have lost someone special this Christmas season. 🌲
If you have lost someone significant in your life. Christmas can be changed forever. This holiday may not be easy....but you will get through it in time, the holidays will adjust to a new normal, just as you will. You will get through it.

Is this your first Christmas without your loved one?
It can be hard to cope, especially when you see sights and sounds of holiday bliss all around you. The ups and downs of grief can become overwhelming with waves of memories, especially during Valentines day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Grief can also amplify the stress and anxiety that is often part of the holidays

While there will constantly be a void from the departure of a friend or family member, It’s understandable if you’re not in the holiday spirit this season, your feelings is quite valid. I know first hand how hard this time of year can be for many.

Give yourself enough time to feel the emotions that may arise and if you feel sad let the tears come. If you feel angry , allow yourself to talk with someone and release the emotion of stress . Remember do whatever works best for yourself as well as your healing journey.

What is your favorite dishes or traditions on thanksgiving?

As a therapist one of my favorite holidays is thanksgiving. It's a day for gratitude, for sharing, for remembering the special people in my life. I'm grateful for my client's, family and friends, Happy Thanksgiving 2023! May your heart and home feel the profound warmth, love and light this thanksgiving day.

Fear is sneaky. It hides in places we’re not expecting it. It motivates actions without our awareness.

Before we can move past our , we have to become a spy. We have to find our fear. Identifying our limiting beliefs is one of the most effective ways to figure out where the fear lives and then flush it out.

Limited beliefs in the ?

1.fear of success
2. fear of failure
3. fear we are not good enough to achieve what we want
4. fear of not being loved/being unlovable
5. fear of rejection – generally leading you to avoid relationships or people please
6. having negative attributes assigned to being prosperous/having money
7. fear of greatness
8. we don’t deserve/we are not worthy of success
9. we have to work very hard, long hours for our money
10. others hold me back.

Recognizing any of these in your own thought process? How often do you hear yourself say “I should” “I have to” or “I can’t?”

It’s okay, it is likely to happen to all of us at some stage of our lives and careers. By taking the time to consider what you want to believe, you can choose your beliefs and values or sabotage you/your path to success. Changing your belief system is one of the most important steps to take in achieving success.

How limited beliefs are formed?

The things that you say to yourself can be the number one support tool you have to guide you towards your goals and dreams.

When we don’t we can't, we won’t.
When We Believe We Can, We Will

Those things we think and say to ourselves in our lives. Limiting beliefs are those things you believe about yourself that ultimately place on your abilities. They are sub-conscious thoughts creeping in and telling you something that is ultimately not true.

For example, “bad things always happen to me”, “I’m no good at speaking to people”, “all my relationships are painful”, “I’d never make a good leader” or “I could never start my own business”.

Limiting beliefs are simply assumptions about your reality that come from your perceptions of experiences . In order for our actions to have the greatest positive effect, we need to have beliefs that are as close to reality as possible. Deceiving ourselves with false realities and limiting beliefs could mean that we never fulfill our goals and dreams. By understanding the cause of your limited beliefs you can overcome blocks to and your . At certain points in life, everyone experiences limited beliefs.
