Thank you to Future of Good for highlighting the new National 211 Needs Dashboard and the insights it brings to light.

Drawing from 211 data across the country, the dashboard helps identify needs and service gaps in communities, such as housing, mental health supports, and more.

We are proud to see contributions from the Findhelp team, including our Director of Digital Solutions, Dave Montague, reflected in this important work led by United Way Centraide Canada.

Le 11 février, nous avons célébré la Journée 211, une célébration nationale annuelle du travail accompli par le 211 pour offrir un accès aux services communautaires, gouvernementaux et sociaux partout au pays.

Nous avons pris un moment pour remercier notre incroyable équipe pour votre dévouement indéfectible et votre engagement à faire une réelle différence dans la vie des gens. Nous sommes également extrêmement reconnaissants envers nos partenaires et alliés pour leur soutien. Un immense merci aux plus de 80 édifices, points de repère et monuments illuminés en rouge dans le cadre de l’initiative United Glow — une année record pour le réseau 211 au Canada! Nous soulignons également les nombreuses municipalités, villes et régions de l’Ontario et du Canada qui ont reconnu officiellement la Journée nationale du 211 par une proclamation. Notre Directrice de l’impact communautaire, Finateri, et notre Directeur des communications et de l’engagement, Kabadyundi, se sont joints aux membres du conseil municipal de la Ville d’Ajax, qui ont proclamé en personne le 11 février comme étant la Journée nationale 211. Nous sommes reconnaissants envers toutes celles et tous ceux qui ont pris l’initiative de reconnaître l’impact du 211 et son rôle essentiel pour relier les personnes et les familles aux services dont elles ont besoin, et de nous aider à accroître la sensibilisation au sein des communautés.

Au niveau organisationnel, Findhelp a organisé un rassemblement hybride du personnel afin de prendre un moment pour réfléchir à l’impact du travail que nous accomplissons chaque jour et célébrer l’effort collectif derrière le service, avec notre gâteau traditionnel « 211 » pour rendre hommage aux personnes derrière le service 211 et à l’impact réalisé dans nos communautés.

We took a moment to thank our incredible team for your unwavering dedication and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. We’re also extremely grateful to our partners and champions for their support. A huge thanks to the 80+ buildings, landmarks and monuments lit up red for the United Glow — a record year for the 211 network in Canada! We also acknowledge the many towns, cities, and regions across Ontario and Canada who recognized National 211 Day with an official proclamation. Our Director of Community Impact Finateri and Director of Communications and Engagement Kabadyundi joined members of the Town of Ajax’s City Council, who proclaimed February 11th as 211 Day in person. We are grateful for all those stepping forward to recognize the impact of 211 and its vital role connecting individuals and families to needed supports, and for helping us increase awareness across communities.

At an organizational level, Findhelp hosted a hybrid staff gathering to pause and reflect on the impact of the work we do every day and celebrate the collective effort behind the service with a traditional ‘211’ cake to honour the people behind the 211 service and the impact made on our communities.
