I’m hoping to share more of our community this year, and the timing couldn’t have been better — posted this gem this morning 🥹

This is a group session at the Toronto studio with . What we love most about these sessions is that they don’t feel like “fitness classes” and are a lot like personal training with friends.

Small groups, familiar faces, and a trainer who truly gets to know you, your needs, goals, limitations, wins, and struggles.

Over time, these groups become their own little communities. You show up for yourself, but you also show up for each other. That kind of consistency, care, and connection is what makes movement feel doable… and even something you look forward to!

This is what accessible, human-centred fitness looks like.

I kept looking for a better solution to my back and hip pain.
Turns out, I already had one.
This stretch routine has been in BPF sessions forever.
I just wasn’t doing it consistently outside the gym.
Five minutes a day changed that.
If pain keeps returning,
it might be worth asking:
am I actually doing the basics often enough?

I used to skip workouts if I couldn’t do the full thing.
That mindset kept me (very) inconsistent.
Short sessions weren’t impressive, but they kept the habit alive.
Once the habit stuck, everything else followed.
Would shorter workouts make consistency easier for you?

“I almost didn’t come. And now I can’t imagine not being here." "An Absolute life-changing experience"
If this sounds like you — you’re not alone, and you’re not ‘behind.’
You belong exactly as you are.

This year, we’re making body revolutions, not resolutions.
No shrinking. No fixing. No “new year, new me” nonsense.
Just reclaiming our bodies, our strength, and our autonomy.

What’s your body revolution for this year? We want to hear it!!

2025 has been a year of building, not just studios or programs, but people, trust, and community.

This year I got to open more physical spaces, bring so many new trainers onto the Body Positive Fitness team, and watch something that started as a *just my passion* grow into something *so* much bigger than me.

What I’ve learned most this year is that this mission only works because of the humans behind it.

The trainers who show up with care and integrity.

The clients who trust us with their bodies and their stories.

The community that believes fitness can be joyful, accessible, and free from shame.

Growing this business has meant letting go of doing everything myself and leaning into collaboration, building a team that shares the same values and vision. Every new hire, every class filled, every moment of connection reminds me that this work is about collective care.

On a personal level, I’ve also been learning when to push, when to rest, and how to lead in a way that honours my own body & mind, while supporting others.

Watching our community grow and seeing more and more people feel safer, stronger, and more confident in their bodies has been the greatest reward of 2025.

This year was about expansion with intention.

And as we move into what’s next, I’m so excited to keep building more spaces, supporting more people, and growing a mission that truly belongs to all of us.

And maybe most importantly, this year reaffirmed why this work matters so much. We’re not just running classes or opening studios, we’re actively pushing back against an industry built on shame, pressure, and unrealistic expectations.

Every body welcomed, every modification normalized, every client who realizes they don’t need to “fix” themselves is a step toward changing fitness for the better. This mission is bigger than me, bigger than one studio, and it’s only possible because we’re doing it together.

Thank you for being part of this community; whether you train with us, support us, or simply believe in what we’re creating. 🫶

Making fitness accessible takes a lot more than slapping some keywords on your marketing. Making your fitness accessible takes a complete shift in how you sell, teach, communicate and most importantly your intentions behind it all.

My Story

There's something to be said about feeling comfortable in your own skin. Let alone feeling comfortable in your own skin, in a gym. After working as a personal trainer for over a decade, I have realized the most important approach to health and fitness isn't taken nearly enough.. My passion is helping others FEEL good. I'm here to help you find confidence and strength; in and out of the gym. This is far more important than the numbers on clothing tags and scales. Feel free to reach out for more information on how I can help you get to your goals.
