Honoring Our Heroes at The Highlands!

Today we proudly celebrated our 30 veterans who reside at The Highlands. Our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of them for their service and sacrifice.

A special thank you to all the veterans who joined us to honor our residents — from the VFW, Knights of Columbus, Veteran Services, and Veteran Affairs — all heroes themselves.

It was a truly beautiful and meaningful day spent honoring America’s best. We couldn’t have asked for more.

We had such a fantastic time celebrating together! The Newbie Committee treated everyone to delicious homemade pumpkin bread, perfectly paired with apple cider and pumpkin coffee. Our residents and staff joined in the fun with creative costumes, laughter, and plenty of Halloween spirit.

Our Fall Festival was a wonderful success! We welcomed 15 fantastic vendors, hosted a delicious bake sale, a fun white elephant sale, and raffled off 7 amazing gift baskets. Thanks to everyone’s support, we raised funds that will help make our Activities Program even more successful in the months ahead.
