How do we learn? By doing. Oftentimes through trial and error. If my teachers always gave me the answers, I would not have retained the information. It is through intentional action and measuring the outcomes that we draw our conclusions and try again. When we are always the answer for someone, they never learn to solve the problem. Be mindful of repetition as it can be someone’s comfort zone. And that, my friend, is their responsibility - not yours…

Loyalty, love and relationship are all powerful and wonderful things…however, blind loyalty, codependent love and relationships where your needs come last can also be toxic and draining. So, boundaries created from a place of self-love along with mindfulness of how we feel, goes a long way to making sure our cup is full. Remember - we can only be as good for others as we are for ourselves first…always love, while always have firm but gentle boundaries…

The ability to control our focus/train of thought starts with practicing mindfulness, which is our ability to be presently aware of both our internal and external environments and the impact those environments are having on our mind/body/emotions. ✨

We have more choice over our lives than we often believe. It is too easy to blame others for our emotions, circumstances, and behaviors. Self-accountability & self-empowerment make our choices more clear to us…choice of focus, choice of thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, choice of boundaries around people, places, things…we have more choice & more power than most even believe. Take back your power and create peace for yourself…

Where your attention & focus goes - your energy flows. When we “hold on,” to people, places, things (ideas, beliefs, concepts, perspectives), we remain focused on a particular expectation and/or outcome. However, when we “hold space,” we allow opportunities and growth to impact our perspective/s and initiate potential growth & movement, which keeps us in flow, while having hope for what we’re holding space for, without creating stagnation through attachment. In all things, use your discernment and make wise choices…
