Creative Works

Creative Works Creative Works is a Maine-based nonprofit rehabilitation agency serving the diverse and wide ranging needs of persons with disabilities.

Creative Works developed from an association founded in 1967 by parents to provide education and training for their children with disabilities. In the ensuing years, the organization has evolved from serving children to serving adults, but has maintained the community-based grassroots spirit on which it was founded. Originally located in the Biddeford/Saco area, CW has expanded its service to include offices in Westbrook, Saco, Lewiston, Augusta and Auburn. CW programs and services provide assistance to over 400 people daily. These services include employment in area businesses as well as CW owned businesses; residential support; independent and group living; and personal development through comprehensive community services.

The art studios of Creative Works, YES Art Works, is looking for a community opportunity to display and sell art. Temporary or permanent, themed, medium-specific, content-specific, you name it, we can do it!

At YES Art Works, our artists (adults with disabilities) create and learn in studios with support staff and fellow artists--supplies provided--with the intention of selling their art. Not only is their work an important contribution to the art world, but an opportunity to generate income.

Reach out to us today to learn how you can host a YES Art Works show or installation.
