📣 Spring Conference Content Highlight 📣

This course will look at differential diagnosis specific to runners and how that might differ from the general population. We will explore the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound to assist with differential diagnosis and guide treatment and look at exercise, training modifications and manual therapy techniques to treat running related injuries.

Spring Conference will open with a keynote presentation by Tyson Gentry, a former OSU football player who suffered a C-4 spinal cord injury in a team scrimmage, resulting in a loss of all movement and sensation from the neck down. After two major surgeries and months of therapy, he regained the use of his biceps and refused to give up. His story highlights the extraordinary impact of physical therapy. Following the keynote, members of Mr. Gentry’s care team at OSU will join him on the stage to discuss their teamwork and involvement in developing a plan for progress.

The evening will start with speed mentoring where students will rotate to different tables within a group to talk to PTs and PTAs from various settings in the community.
