On 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝘁𝗵, our Rehab Team at the WV location had the opportunity to learn from 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵, who led an excellent session on 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘆. He walked the team through indications, surgical considerations, different operative approaches, rehab expectations and protocols, as well as the most up‑to‑date research in the field.

The training wrapped up with an engaging group discussion and Q&A, giving our clinicians a chance to dive deeper, share insights, and strengthen their understanding to better support patient outcomes.

We’re incredibly grateful to Dr. Smith for sharing his expertise, and to all of our OrthoNeuro physicians for their ongoing commitment to exceptional patient care and continued clinical education. 💪🦴

Today at our New Albany location, Dr. Scott Stephens hosted a Lunch & Learn with our physical therapy team focused on rotator cuff repairs, including large and massive tears, surgical indications, repair techniques, and augmentation.

The session sparked thoughtful discussion as Dr. Stephens asked the physical therapy staff about protocols and what they’re seeing in the clinic, creating valuable dialogue between surgical and therapy teams.
