What an adventure! Today we soaked up the beauty of the Blacklick Canopy Walk, and many even showed their brave side by crossing the rope bridge (40 feet above the forest floor!). A day filled with fresh air, stunning views, and wonderful memories!

Jeff guided us step by step in arranging stunning floral creations. With his tips and creativity, each bouquet turned out beautifully unique! Just like the hands that made them!

Twenty-four years later, we remember. Today, our community joined in watching a remembrance ceremony from the National Veterans Memorial and Museum, honoring the lives lost and the heroes who showed unwavering courage on 9/11.

Meet Your Neighbor: Joyce

Joyce, one of our very first residents, gave us a glimpse into her life’s adventures, and we loved every minute! She shared stories from composing piano pieces at just six years old to starting college at sixteen, building a beautiful family, and countless funny memories along the way. She kept everyone laughing and entertained from start to finish. We’re so glad Joyce calls Inniswood Village home! 💙

Shout out to our Inniswood leaders in Positive Approach to Care (PAC) certification: Tom Bosley and Demi Nega

What does it take to support those living with dementia? For us, it starts with education, empathy, and a commitment to grow every day.

We’re proud to celebrate ten of our team members who earned certifications from Positive Approach to Care (PAC); a nationally recognized program founded by dementia care expert Teepa Snow. PAC training builds real-world skills to improve communication, reduce stress, and deepen trust with those experiencing cognitive change.

🎓 Here’s who earned their PAC credentials: Champion Teachers: Tom Bosley, Brian Goldstein, Sally Kolcun, Christina Leith, Stephanie Williams; Coaches: Jessica DiBari, Danielle Lamar, Demi Nega, Cammy Sagraves; Trainer: Areasa Owens.
