For more than 25 years I’ve had the privilege of supporting parents and babies through one of the most tender transitions in life — learning how to feed, settle, and connect in those early weeks and months.

For the past 15 years, families have been coming to this little office for support. Recently I refreshed the space to make it even more open, calm, and welcoming, and I made a short video tour to share it with you.

In my work as a nurse and lactation consultant, I’ve learned that feeding challenges are often about more than feeding alone. Babies sometimes carry tension in their bodies from pregnancy, birth, or simply adjusting to life outside the womb.

That’s why my work weaves together several gentle approaches to support both parents and babies:

• Lactation consultation and feeding support
• Infant craniosacral therapy
• Myofascial release
• Rhythmic movement therapy
• Sound therapy for relaxation and regulation

These gentle therapies can help babies release tension, settle more comfortably in their bodies, and often make feeding easier and more enjoyable for both baby and parent.

Every baby has their own rhythm. Sometimes families just need a little support finding it.

My daughter & I are headed home today from a joy summit in South Africa. The journey has been amazing, even this brief trip to a South African hospital for a few stitches turned out much better than expected. Stitches/ meds/doctor …..25 usd. I was so happy to see this breastfeeding information posted in the lobby.
