Dr. Logan later graduated Valedictorian of his class at The Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2002. While at KSUCPM, Dr. Logan received the Wally Wiseman Surgical Excellence Award for Proficiency and Demonstrated Excellence in Podiatric Surgery. He also received the William F. Todd Award for Excellence in General Medicine and the Timothy Holbrook Memorial Award for Excellence in Foot & Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine presented by the American College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. Dr. Logan then went on to three years of Surgical Residency Training at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, consistently ranked as one of the best hospitals in the United States. Dr. Logan is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. His specialty interests include lower extremity wound care, treatment of the diabetic foot, foot & ankle sprains and fractures, heel pain and arthritis, reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive bunion surgery and correction of flatfoot in both children and adults. Dr. Logan is a frequent lecturer on the medical and surgical management of foot & ankle conditions and has authored numerous medical papers for publication. He is a graduate of the Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Logan has a conservative practice philosophy, attempting to treat foot & ankle conditions with conservative therapy such as orthotics, bracing, and physical therapy whenever possible. If conservative therapy is unsuccessful, Dr. Logan is then able to treat many foot and ankle conditions with his advanced surgical training.
