I would like to proudly announce the arrival of Dr. Nicholas Delaney to our growing team of physicians at Genesis Orthopaedic and Spine in Westfield, NJ. Dr. Delaney is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and fellowship trained in Sports Medicine. He completed his medical degree (MD) at SUNY Upstate Medical University, then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center, and followed by completing a sports medicine fellowship at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital where he spent time as a surgeon for the Baltimore Ravens NFL team, Washington Nationals MLB team, Washington Capitals NHL team, and Washington Wizards NBA team. Exactly 2 years ago we set out on a journey to open up a medical practice that offers head to toe sports medicine care. Two years and 5 doctors and 1 physical therapist in to our venture, business is booming at Genesis Orthopaedic and Spine and we have the best doctors, staff, and patients anyone could ask for. We strive for excellent patient care and want to especially thank our patients for all their support. Without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Thank you also to the township of , and it’s people and for all their support. Here’s to more years of success and also expansion of our practice to offer advanced and modern orthopedic and sports medicine care. I am excited to announce the arrival of our new board certified Podiatric Surgeon, Maybelle Maningat, DPM, who joins our expanding team at Genesis Orthopaedic and Spine. Dr. Maningat earned her bachelor’s degree with honors from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. She then received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio before completing her residency at CarePoint Health | Hoboken University Medical Center in Hoboken, NJ with an emphasis on reconstructive lower extremity surgery, sports-medicine, and trauma. She specializes in a wide spectrum of foot and ankle conditions including fractures, sprains and strains, arthroscopic surgery, and general podiatry issues like bunions, hammertoes, and flat feet. Our Story

Vinay Chopra, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained sports medicine physician at Genesis Regenerative Sports and Aesthetic Medicine in Westfield, New Jersey. Dr. Chopra specializes in sports medicine, regenerative medicine, non-surgical orthopedics, concussion management, and aesthetic medicine. He is also a concussion specialist and credentialed impact consultant.

He treats a range of conditions, including sprains, fractures, arthritis, joint disorders, and sports injuries, as well as providing nutritional assistance and sports performance enhancement to his patients. Dr. Chopra is also certified in advanced aesthetic medicine by the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine in procedures such as Botox®, Juvederm®, radiofrequency, and microdermabrasion.

Dr. Chopra has extensive experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound and various therapies such as TenJet® percutaneous tenotomy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), Lipogems, and adipose and BMAC stem cell therapies.

Dr. Chopra earned his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He then earned his medical degree with honors from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica before completing his residency in family and community medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. He completed fellowship training in sports medicine at Atlantic Health, Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey while serving as a team physician for the New York Jets football team.
