WMH Emergency Room and Services Will Remain Open For The Immediate Future.
Thanks to the overwhelming support of the community, the Department of Health has given Westfield Memorial Hospital an extension on their operating license. The DOH is working closely with WMH and their current proposal that was submitted in June to keep services as they currently are.

"One day, my daughter Sarrah went to school with a stomach ache, got sick and came home. Sarrah continued to complain about stomach pain, vomit ,and sleep the entire day. I took her to WMH's ER. She was diagnosed with appendicitis and had an emergency appendectomy that night. The staff was very helpful and kept me informed of what was going on. Thank you WMH staff for helping my daughter in our time of need."
