Cardio... so many of us love to hate it. Our first thought is usually "Oh - Cardio is just running..." but is it?
Cardio(vascular) training is an activity that gets your blood pumping and large muscle groups working.
While we very strongly (no pun intended) believe that strength training is the best form of exercise for your overall health (and science backs us up!) that doesn't mean that cardio has no purpose in a fitness regimen. After all, our heart is a muscle!
So while running is one form of cardio, there are many other ways you can get your heart pumping and strengthen your upper respiratory system!
