Our team had the privilege of volunteering with IDES (International Disaster Emergency Services) at their headquarters in Noblesville, IN. We spent the afternoon packing meals for communities affected by crisis and disaster around the world.

It was a powerful reminder of how even a few hours of service can make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Working side by side, (hairnets, dust, and all!) we were part of a larger mission to bring hope and essential support to those in need.

We're grateful for the opportunity to serve, and we encourage others to learn more about the work IDES is doing every day to respond to emergencies with compassion and action.

As one of our pediatric specialists here at Busby Eye Care, she’s passionate about helping kids see clearly, improving quality of life through vision solutions and Vision Therapy. 💙
Here are a few fun facts about Dr. Ray:

👀 August is Kids’ Eye Health Month!

Your child’s vision is an important part of their growth, learning, and confidence, and we’re here to help every step of the way! Here at Busby Eye Care, we have five doctors would be happy to see your little ones from the time they reach 6 months old, however Dr. Anderson and Dr. Ray are our pediatric specialists and also provide vision therapy services for children who may need extra support.

Below, you'll find a quick rundown of vision services we offer and suggest for kids!

✅ Free InfantSEE Exams — Complimentary exams for babies 6–12 months old

👓 Recommended Exam Schedule:
• After InfantSEE at age 3
• Again before kindergarten
• Then yearly to stay on top of changes

💡 Ask us about anti-fatigue lenses! They are a great option for kids spending more time on tablets, phones, and computers to help reduce eye strain and improve comfort.

It's a time dedicated to emphasizing the significance of regular eye exams for our young ones. As children gear up for a new school year, it's crucial to ensure their vision is clear and healthy, setting them up for success in the classroom and beyond.
