👏 WHB High School Student Government in action!

Student leaders from —President Emily Edwards and Secretary Emma Voz—recently helped restock the Family Pantry at our Kanas Center for Hospice Care.

After hosting a volleyball tournament to raise funds, they took it a step further by shopping for and delivering much-needed items to support the families we serve.

We’re so grateful for their compassion, initiative, and commitment to helping others. 💚🤍

There’s nothing like good friends, good stories, and a good meal. 🍽️

Our hospice patient Mike Daly recently enjoyed one of his favorite traditions — meeting up with his Retired Old Men Eating Out (ROMEO) group at JR’s Steakhouse in Calverton. These gatherings are about much more than lunch. They’re filled with laughter, friendship, storytelling, and the comfort of lifelong bonds.

Hospice care is about living fully in each moment. For Mike, that means pulling up a chair at the table with great friends and enjoying the moments that matter most.

We’re honored to support Mike in continuing the traditions that bring him joy — because every moment matters. 💚

As we celebrate this milestone, we’ll share stories, memories, and the people who make the Kanas Center a place of hope and comfort.
