Dee Buchanan managed a public house in London from 1982-1988 and became a Cordon Bleu Chef, during which time she trained with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis, qualifying with a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy (DCH), and a Diploma in Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (DHP) in 1988. Since then she has run her own successful private hypnotherapy & counselling practice in Aberdeenshire, and appeared on both TV and radio. Dee is a Full Member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and is fully insured.
She has lectured and written extensively on her subject. In her ongoing quest to uplift the human spirit she has attended dozens of associated courses, qualifying in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Energy Psychology, Angel Therapy with Doreen Virtue PhD and as a Shamanic Practitioner. Her ongoing professional development includes studies in Energy Psychology, Physiognomy (Face Reading) and becoming a trainer in Emotrance. Dee is a highly intuitive healer with a natural gift for clearing trapped emotional traumas quickly and easily, often with dramatic results. She also is a provider of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminars to Aberdeen City Council.
Dee also produced a Booklet with CD called How To Feel Fantastic Every Day which is a performance enhancing set of mind and heart tools with only positive side effects. It contains many simple yet powerfully effective techniques to help individuals monitor their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual faculties. It also helps them define boundaries and gain respect for self and others while boosting confidence. Dee developed the booklet from having used the same techniques during her own healing journey through parental abandonment, children's homes, physical, mental, emotional and sexual abuse, and the subsequent far-reaching effects into adult life of violent relationships, r**e, abortion, drug and alcohol abuse, psychosomatic illnesses and bereavement grief.
