Betrayal trauma reaches deeper than most people realize.
When your world collapses, you are not just dealing with broken trust. You are carrying shock, confusion, fear, and a nervous system trying to survive what happened.
And while others may say just forgive or just leave, they often miss the layers of trauma that shape every thought, every reaction, and every moment of your day.
You are not misunderstood because you are dramatic.
You are misunderstood because betrayal trauma is complex, invisible, and deeply personal.
You deserve support that sees the impact, not just the surface.

Betrayal does not just hurt emotionally. It changes the way your nervous system reads the world.
Situations that once felt safe can suddenly feel threatening, and your body reacts before your mind even understands why.
This is not overreacting. It is the residue of trauma that lives in the body even after recovery has begun.
Flashbacks, tension, fear, and hypervigilance are signs that your system is still trying to protect you.
Healing means slowly teaching your body that safety is possible again through grounding, breath, and compassionate awareness.
You are not broken. You are learning to feel safe in your own skin again.

Betrayal by someone you trusted most can leave your mind and body in conflict. You may find yourself asking, How could the person who loved me the most also be the one who hurt me the most?

This is the collision of love and trauma. It is your nervous system trying to make sense of danger and safety all at once.

If you relate to this, know that what you are feeling is not weakness. It is your body remembering pain and longing for safety again. Healing begins by gently noticing what is happening inside you and reminding yourself that you are still here, and you can learn to feel safe again.

THIS IS A 4-WEEK LIVE GROUP MEETING VIA ZOOM ON TUESDAY 8:30-10:00 AM PACIFIC TIME ON NOV 18, (SKIP NOV 25), DEC 2, DEC 9, DEC 16, 2025*** Experiencing betrayal due to infidelity, addiction, and/or emotional abuse can be the most devastating experience in one’s life. Evidence-based ways to heal the trauma 2) Identifying and setting boundaries/consequences structures with your loved ones 3) How the mind, body, and emotions are impacted and tools to help you take your control back 4) Important tools to heal after discovery: fear of vulnerability, rebuilding trust, reconnecting with your instincts, and exploring shame 5) What does s*x/love addiction recovery look like? What’s the 12-Steps? This workshop includes: 1) Weekly 90-minute live group sessions with Kristin 2) All exercises, videos, and course material 3) Weekly “break-out sessions” for participants to meet-up, connect, and share their stories in an effort to create safety and community (THIS WORKSHOP DOES NOT REPLACE THERAPY.
