When I met the Poppy’s litter, I was in love with all of them. The Moma was such a mellow sweet girl. I wanted Poppy to be able to hang with one of her sisters(the litter was all girls) Lucky for me, Suki lives in the same town! Ah, the sweetness of life!

I interrupt the regular scheduled program to bring you presence. There is nothing more present than a puppy. Poppy has brought me back to myself. Pure clarity, pure sweetness, pure love. What brings you back to innocence?

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about my childhood and the essence of my true nature. It may sound hoakey but I feel like I’m walking toward my true self. Remembering who I really am. What I value. What really matters. My sweetest nature. I like it! What were you like as a kid? Is it still in there? Revisit it, man. It will heal you.

For so long, I’ve been considering posting about finding joy even in the most dire circumstances. I guess this stems from my own experience. The last three years have been so hard, but somehow our family has not only survived, but thrived. It’s really a miracle, isn’t it?

This got me to thinking. People hear enough horrible stuff through the ‘doom scrolling’ , why not provide a break and a little bit of hope?

A few weeks ago, I introduced you to our new puppy, Poppy. She will be a part of this mission because she is all love, light and beautiful sweet energy!

What say you? As an Energy worker and Breathwork Facilitator, I’d like to extend some good vibes. Don’t worry. It won’t all be pixies & rainbows😂

After everything I’ve been through I understand that platitudes and cliches can grow tired very quickly.

This little soul would fall asleep with one eye on me. The obsession was mutual. I just couldn’t believe a tiny creature could love so big.

In 2015, Sitka was surrendered to a shelter by a homeless family who could no longer feed her. The little girl in the family had carried her around like a baby doll. I’ve often thought of that family and wanted to express my gratitude of their selflessness. I would tell them how our family loved her ferociously and that I continued to carry her around like a baby doll.

Sitka was discerning and sensitive and only really liked a few people and I found this keenly intelligent. If she let you into her orbit it was so special….pure sweetness!

I know I’m going on about a dog, but this girl loved me through a lot of Christmas mornings, rainy days and immense grief. You never forget the friend who snuggles and leans in with you in your darkest moments.

So, as she walks over the rainbow bridge, I watch longingly yet grateful that you came to me, little one. So lucky to have had you in my life. 🌈
