Recently, I saw a patient who had been experiencing neck pain for four years. He had seen everyone. Chiropractors. Other physical therapists. He'd tried Botox injections. Nothing was working because they were all making the same mistake ➡️ focusing on the symptom, not the cause.

Then he found me. 🙋

Right away, I noticed something off in his standing and walking posture. His pelvis and spine were stiff and locked up, forcing his neck to do all the work. No wonder his neck was angry and in pain. 😣

Rather than working on the neck, I started with the pelvis. I worked up through the spine up to the neck, releasing tension as I went.

By addressing the real cause, the neck pain finally began to fade. After that, I taught him how to move and support his body long-term. Because that's what healing really looks like. 🎉

Everything in the body is connected, and that's why I will always use my Whole Body Approach.

If you've tried everything and are still in pain, reach out to me. I'll find and treat the root cause of your pain.

Today, we honor all the brave men and women who have served in our military. It is through their service and sacrifice that we have the freedom to pursue happy, healthy lives.

Happy Veterans Day!

Yes, I'm a physical therapist, but I do things differently. When you work with me, you don't just get a PT.

You get a partner in healing. A coach. A guide. Someone who teaches you how to take charge of your own body. 🙌

I don't just treat your pain, I look for what's causing it. Using my Whole Body Approach, we dig into:
⏩ Your mindset
⏩ Your lifestyle & nutrition
⏩ Your movement

Then we build a personalized plan together. I'll teach you how to understand your body, trust it, and support it so you can heal.

I'm not here for band-aid fixes or sessions where you get passed along to an assistant. I'm here to be in your corner and guide you toward real, lasting change.

If you've been looking for support like that, let’s talk! 🧡

What you eat matters more than you think. You can stretch, sweat, and meditate all day long, but if your food isn't fueling your body and brain, you're running on empty. 🏃

Not all produce is created equal. Soil quality, farming practices, and how far it travels can all affect the nutrients on your plate.

And if you want to feel your best? Stick to in-season, locally grown food from farms that use regenerative farming practices. That's the kind of nourishment that supports long-term health and healing. 🧡

This November in Westlake Village, load your plate with spinach, apples, squash, eggplant, artichokes, mushrooms, and more.

This season, I encourage you to practice eating with intention. What’s your favorite in-season food? 🍎

Thank you, Leslie, for your kind review! One of the most important parts of my work is helping you build a sustainable home program. Because it’s what you do every day that shapes your healing.

If you’re ready to heal and want a plan that fits into your lifestyle, I’d love to help.

When you work with me, I’ll assess where you are, your goals, and create a plan that helps you live happily and healthily every day.

There’s only one letter between training and straining, but that one letter makes all the difference. Too many programs are overly aggressive and end up holding you back more than they help you. 🤔

After more than 40 years in the industry, I’ve tried the aggressive physical therapy thing before. And let me tell you, gentle, sustainable movements over time have a much greater cumulative effect on your healing.

If you’ve been pushing yourself as hard as possible and still not seeing the progress you want, reach out to me. I’d love to show you another path to healing. 🧡

I see a lot of people who feel like they’ve tried everything. Medication. Surgeries. Botox injections. Acupuncture. Traditional physical therapy routines.

By the time they find my office, many have lost hope.

But, I promise you, there is still hope! I believe healing is possible without the use of drugs or surgery.

That’s why I developed my Whole Body Approach. By finding and treating the root cause of your pain, you can have lasting relief.

So yes, I’m a physical therapist, but my methods are a little different.

If you’re tired of living in pain and have lost hope of lasting pain relief, reach out to me. I love helping people find hope and healing.

When we work together, I give you a personalized program with videos and tools you can carry into your daily life from here on out.

Because there’s always one thing I want my clients to understand: Just because your insurance or physical therapy is done, doesn’t mean your progress is.

We can always progress. We can always make choices that better support our health. 🙌

Even if you feel like you’re healed or pain-free, ask yourself: What am I doing to keep moving forward? How am I maintaining my health?

If you’ve “graduated” from physical therapy, but still feel like there’s more healing or growth ahead, I’d love to help you get there.

Reach out to me, and let’s build a healthier, happier you! 🧡

Where you feel pain may not be where the problem is. That’s always the first thing I tell my clients.

Too often, traditional care only focuses on the area that hurts, and, just as often, the pain returns. 🤔

Recently, I worked with a woman who’d been dealing with chronic neck and low back pain. Every provider and treatment only focused on those areas, but the pain wouldn’t go away.

Well, I used my Whole Body Approach and found her problem was actually in the pelvis and rib cage. Once we addressed those areas, her neck and back pain started to go away. 🙌

If you’re living with chronic pain and you’re living in Westlake Village, reach out to me. I’d love to help you understand your body better and heal. 🧡

So often, I get people asking me, “How long?” 🤔 How long will it take to heal? How long do I need to do rehab? How long will I have to do this?

Now, I don’t think there’s ever an easy answer to that question. Your healing isn’t just physical. Your mindset, emotional health, and daily habits will all shape your journey.

But, even beyond that? I don’t really like that question at all. We might never reach a perfect “finish line” because our health isn’t a race; it’s a journey.

In some phases of your journey, you might need to move more, while in others you spend resting.

So instead of chasing a result, enjoy the process. Exist in the moment. Take each day to learn about your body and support your health. 🙌

I’m here to educate you about how your body works together, from your mindset to your movement, and your nutrition, so you can live happier and healthier than you ever have before.

So this October, ask yourself: What’s your body trying to tell you? And if you need help starting your health journey, reach out to me. I’m here to help. 🧡

Dan prides himself with the client that was recommended surgery, or the person that has tried other forms of therapies without resolve or the athlete trying to overcome their nagging injury and not getting resolve.

Personal experience of trauma, illness and injury including mercury poisoning that was undiagnosed for years, motor vehicle accident resulting in back and leg pain, ACL tear and a fractured hip, has contributed to Dan’s understanding and commitment to the healing process and helping others.

All of these experiences have led to the formula of overcoming dysfunction, achieving good health and moving toward optimal well-being.
