This weekend I have had an amazing opportunity to serve as a volunteer crisis counselor at an Amish/Mennonite women's retreat where they have suffered with severe trauma of sexual, physical, mental and spiritual abuse. How beautiful it is to see these individuals find freedom in Jesus and to know their identity in Christ. http://www.voicesofhope.events/

Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, anger, ruminating thoughts? Try this grounding exercise to help you become mindful in the moment and not in the emotion of the how it feels. Rather lean into hearing what the facts are around how you feel and respond to the facts rather than react to the emotion. Let me know if this is a helpful coping skill that you use!
