Being centered, balanced, supported, nourished and productive are attributes of the earth element.

In the human body, the element is connected to the spleen and stomach.

As we understand that the 5 Elements represent the energy flowing, we can bring balance to them to feel healthy and happy inside physically, mentally and emotionally.

Next week we will go deeper into the connection between the Earth element and the organ system it is connected to. ☯️✨

The Five Elements Theory is a system that has been used for thousands of years in Chinese medicine, philosophy, feng shui, and martial arts to describe the interactions between Yin, Yang and the phenomena of nature.

The 5 Elements are wood, fire, earth, metal and water.

Each of the Five Elements represents an aspect of dynamic process, or phase of change.

This theory asserts that the world changes according to the five elements’ generating or overcoming interactions between the Yin and Yang.

Traditional Chinese medicine uses the energy of each of the Elements to assess the balance or imbalance of each of a person’s organ systems.

Using the Five Element correspondences help us to understand how to maintain balance within our systems.

Follow along as we go deeper into using the Five Elements to help keep our organ systems healthy and happy.
