An interesting fact about laser hair removal- Areas like the underarm and bikini have coarse dark hair growth that absorbs laser energy better and respond better but you feel the treatment a little more. You may prefer to apply a numbing cream prior to treatment. Finer lighter hair does not absorb as much energy and you don’t feel it as much, may need more treatments or not respond at all / as well. If you spot these there’s still time to have your treatments. Take advantage of the colder months because it’s best not to have a tan when you’re being treated, it’s easier to wear post-treatment compression hose when it’s cooler, and the tiny bruises at the injection sites are easily hidden by long pants or skirts.
