Last night, our campus was full of spooky fun and sweet treats as we hosted our annual “Trunk” or Treat event! Families of CLV residents and team members — along with community guests from Carroll Lutheran School — joined in the fun.

More than 75 kids joined in, enjoying LOTS of candy, popcorn, cotton candy, balloon animals and games. 🍬🎈🍿

Recently, we celebrated Carroll Lutheran Village’s 45th Anniversary with a special presentation and luncheon honoring our remarkable journey and the people who made it possible.

From our humble beginnings in 1980—with just eight cottages on 40 acres—to becoming a vibrant Life Plan Community home to more than 600 residents, CLV has grown in both size and spirit.

For 45 years, our mission has remained steadfast: to serve older adults with compassion, respect and integrity, welcoming individuals of all faiths and walks of life.

Please join us in giving a warm CLV welcome to our new residents, Shirley and Gary!

This dynamic couple recently celebrated 62 years of marriage and moved to CLV in September.

Gary is a retired college and professional football coach, having wrapped up his career at Boston College. These days, he enjoys staying active with racquetball. Shirley is an independent fitness instructor, teaching pilates, yoga and aerobic dance—and her energy is contagious! She’s also a talented singer in her church choir and loves connecting with others.

Together, they share life with their adorable Shih Tzu-Yorkie, Buster.
