Our Story

We are a team of hearing care professionals who are dedicated to providing excellent hearing healthcare support. We are always looking for ways to help make hearing health and hearing help more attainable for all. During the COVID-19 pandemic we saw the use of masks become commonplace in an effort to protect the health and safety off all, but with that we saw a specific need emerge. Wearing a mask can reduce what a speaker is saying 10-12 decibels. It may not sound like much, but that means it’s not only more difficult for someone with normal hearing to hear what the speaker is saying, but it can make it painfully challenging for those with hearing loss. People with hearing loss also rely on seeing a speaker’s mouth to help piece together and understand what they’re saying and traditional masks block that. It was out of this specific need that our Reusable Mask with Clear Panel came to be for a Southern California Audiology practice. Then word spread, and now The Hearing Spot masks are being sold nationwide across many industries. Now people can see you smile even when you’re wearing your mask.
