Our Journey

In 2012, a pregnancy resource center opened its doors in Westminster, Carroll County. Over the past six and a half years, the staff and volunteers have helped countless women, men, children and families. They have built meaningful relationships with local churches, government agencies and faith-based organizations. Their reputation for professional care, compassion and uniquely tailored services has earned the respect of the local human services community. They have earned the trust and esteem of their clients. This extensive networking coupled with quality services has truly benefited all who have come through the doors. Unfortunately, that center whose parent organization is based in Pennsylvania, is no longer able to financially support the Westminster location and the doors of the center are scheduled to close June 30, 2019.

BUT…hope springs eternal! Through the hard-work, commitment and passion of a core group of local, individuals Carroll County will be the home to the new PSC- Pregnancy Support Center of Carroll County-opening their doors July 1, 2019! The staff and volunteers who served at the previous center will be transferring to PSC which will remain at 95 Carroll Street, Suite 101, Westminster. They will bring with them all the knowledge, skills and relationships that they have built since opening in 2012! Services offered by PSC will remain unchanged.

All services offered by PSC, including limited ultrasounds, options counseling, pregnancy tests and material assistance are made possible through the generosity of private donors. The impact to the community over the past six and half years has been immeasurable and we need your help to continue and keep our doors open! Please join with us to build a CULTURE OF LIFE and provide real choices, support and education for women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy! Our success depends on you!
