Holistic psychotherapy is an approach that addresses the “whole you” — mind, body and spirit. I offer evidenced-based approaches that take into account your emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well-being. My mission is to help you heal, energize, and become aware of your innate strengths. During counseling sessions, I provide you with my undivided attention, ensuring you feel safe & understood. My treatment plans integrate mind, body and spiritual approaches to help you move forward with grace & confidence.

One of the things people don’t always realize about therapy with children…

It often looks like play.

Toys, games, drawing, movement — these aren’t just fun activities. They are how children communicate, process experiences, and learn emotional regulation.

While adults talk through their feelings, children work through theirs in play.

Play therapy helps children:
• express emotions
• process experiences
• build confidence
• learn coping skills
• feel safe and understood

So yes… it may look like we’re playing.

But we promise — we’re working.

If your child could benefit from support, our team is here to help.

Try this simple mind-body-spirit reset today.

It only takes a few minutes.

🧠 Mind
Take one slow breath and notice what you're thinking.
Offer those thoughts to God.

🌿 Body
Roll your shoulders back.
Take three slow breaths.
Unclench your jaw.

🤍 Spirit
Whisper a short prayer:

“Lord, guide my thoughts, steady my body, and fill me with Your peace.”

Whole-person wellness doesn't always require big changes.

Sometimes healing begins with one intentional moment.

Mind.
Body.
Spirit.

Mental health does not exist in isolation.

Your thoughts, your body, your habits, and your environment all influence how you feel.

That’s why at Graceful Balance Wellness we take a multidisciplinary approach to healing.

Our team integrates support through:

🧠 Therapy
🥗 Nutrition & functional wellness
💬 Coaching
🌿 Somatic regulation & mind-body practices

Because real healing often requires more than one tool.

You might process past experiences in therapy.

You might stabilize mood through nutrition.

You might build new habits through coaching.

You might calm the nervous system through body-based practices.

When these pieces work together, transformation becomes more sustainable.

Mind. Body. Spirit.

That’s how God designed us.

And that’s how we care for our clients.

✨ Grateful for a Beautiful Season Together ✨

Today we wrapped up one of the most meaningful book & Bible studies we’ve had the privilege of hosting.

Over the past weeks, an incredible group of women gathered to read and reflect on “Untangle Your Emotions” by Jennie Allen, and what unfolded was truly special.

There was honesty.
There was connection.
There was encouragement.
And most importantly, we witnessed the many ways God moved in each woman’s story.

Spaces like this remind us how powerful it is when women come together in community — to be seen, heard, and supported.

A special thank you to our intern Alyson Groft, who did an incredible job leading and holding space for this group.

And a huge thank you to Ohana bowl & smoothie bar for graciously allowing us to use their beautiful space. We are so grateful for your hospitality. If you haven’t visited them yet, please go support this wonderful local business.

We leave this study thankful for the friendships formed, the conversations shared, and the growth we witnessed.

Healing is holy work. 🌿

There is something about the arrival of spring that speaks quietly to the soul.

After months of dormancy, the earth begins to wake up again.

New leaves.
New light.
New growth.

Scripture reminds us:

"See, I am doing a new thing. Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?"
— Isaiah 43:19

Nature reflects a rhythm that God built into creation — seasons of rest, seasons of growth, seasons of renewal.

Sometimes our own healing works the same way.

What felt dormant may begin to stir again.
What felt heavy may begin to lighten.

A walk outside.
Fresh air.
Sunlight on your face.

These small moments reconnect us with the design God placed in both creation and our bodies.

This week, notice the signs of new life around you.

They may also be signs of new life within you.

Coaching vs counseling

03/06/2026

If you’ve ever had a moment where you thought:

“I’ve got this. I’m totally fine.”

…and five minutes later realized you were absolutely not fine…

You’re not alone.

Healing isn’t a straight line.
Growth doesn’t mean you never wobble.

It means you recognize the wobble sooner and know what to do next.

Give yourself grace.
Regulate.
Reset.

Progress > perfection.

Hang in there!

Harsh seasons may test our endurance, but they do pass.

In John 9:3 we are reminded that the struggles we face are never without a purpose. We see in the scriptures that ALL struggles exist for God to accomplish His purposes. Take heart, it is in our most trying seasons that we experience the most growth.

Let the promises of a new season, put some SPRING in your step.

Look to the SON! 😉

One of the best moments in therapy?

When a client walks back in and says:

“I tried the thing we talked about.”

Maybe it was setting a boundary.
Maybe it was slowing your breathing.
Maybe it was responding differently than you used to.

Healing doesn’t just happen in the therapy room.
It happens when you practice it in real life.

And when you do?

We’re over here cheering like proud sea turtles.

Growth is worth celebrating. 🌿

Healing is holy work.
