This Earth Hour, we invite you to pause — not just the lights, but the constant busyness of life. Take a quiet moment for yourself: reflect, relax, or simply sit in stillness. Caring for your mind is as important as caring for the planet.

✨ Small pauses can make a big difference.

Small habits can create big shifts in your mental health. 🌿

One simple strategy we love is habit stacking, or pairing a new healthy habit with something you already do every day. By attaching a new behavior to an existing routine, it becomes easier for your brain to remember and repeat it.

✨ Try a few simple stacks:
• After you brush your teeth → take 2 minutes to stretch
• During your morning shower → practice a few deep breaths
• On your commute → repeat a positive affirmation
• When you get into bed → spend 5 minutes on mindful breathing or reading

Our brains thrive on routine, which is why linking new habits to existing ones can help them stick.

💡 Remember: Start small and stay consistent. Even tiny steps toward wellness can support your mental health over time.

What’s one habit you could “stack” into your day this week? 👇

Anxiety doesn’t always look like panic attacks.

✨ Sometimes it looks like:
• Overthinking every decision
• Trouble sleeping because your mind won’t slow down
• Feeling on edge even when nothing is “wrong”
• Avoiding situations that once felt easy
• Constantly worrying about the future

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Anxiety is one of the most common challenges people face, and support can make a real difference.

✨ Quick tips that may help in the moment:
• Pause and breathe slowly — try inhaling for 4 seconds and exhaling for 6
• Ground yourself — name 5 things you can see, 4 you can touch, 3 you can hear
• Step away from the stressor for a few minutes if possible
• Write your thoughts down to help get them out of your head
• Be kind to yourself — anxiety is a human response, not a personal failure

Talking with a therapist can help you understand your anxiety, learn practical coping tools, and regain a sense of calm and control. Reach out to admin@graceintegrated.com to schedule a session.

About Us

As 2020 begins, I sit and contemplate the importance of therapy for families today. Where were I be personally without it? How would my children lives be different if my husband and I did not make personal growth a priority? What patterns of chaos would be happening daily in my home, in my marriage, and with the people I cherish most because of unconscious patters of dysfunction I am repeating from my own childhood because “I do not know any better.” Today, I insist on knowing better, so I can do better. That is what therapy offers to people. Have you heard the old adage, “they did the best they knew how,” as a way to reconcile how terrible older generations did at parenting. Albeit true for most, they did the best they knew how, except the best was typically abusive, traumatic, emotionally insensitive and detached. Those generational traumas being passed down decade after decade, leaving us to lean on adages like “they did they best they knew how,” as a way to cope with our own wounds. My husband and I refuse to accept the ignorance of that statement. And instead, chose on a weekly basis through our own therapy to demand a better way for us, and as an extension, our children. Grace Integrated offers to our clients a better way. Our clinicians do their own therapy, so they can help you carve out a path for your own life that is full of awareness. You no longer have to struggle, fight, and feel detached from your own life. Therapy offers a new, better way. As the founder of Grace Integrated, I advocate so fully for everyone to experience therapy because “doing the best they could,” is not best at all. Grace Integrated is a family owned and run business dedicated to healing the wounds of generations, so that we promote the new generation of best. A generation of families taught secure attachments through emotional sensitivity, parental responsiveness and unconditional love. Come and join us as it is never too late to live your best life.
