Love tulips for Valentine’s? If you have pets, you might want to think twice about bringing these flowers into your home. 🌷
They may be beautiful, but they are also incredibly toxic to cats and dogs. While all parts of the plant contain toxic compounds, the amounts are most concentrated in the bulbs or flowers, and ingesting them can lead to serious health issues. If you do receive an arrangement with tulips this year, be sure to keep them safely displayed, away from curious paws!

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago are in the beginning stages of developing a new hospital in the southwest suburban Downers Grove area. The low-acuity pediatric hospital is expected to include a pediatric emergency department, surgery suites, inpatient beds and key pediatric sub-specialties.
