Happy Thanksgiving. We celebrated with friends and family today and last Thursday. We had all of the traditional favorites and the residents' homemade cranberry sauce. We hope your holiday was as delicious as ours has been.

Yesterday was a wonderful day. Accord Hospice and the 4th grade class at Westmoreland Elementary School helped us observe Veterans Day. Thank you for your support and the wonderful poems and songs that you sang.

We entered the “Fields of Gold“ photo contest at Sugar Creek Country Store. The residents are really enjoying our Fall Foliage Rides. Here they are pictured enjoying all of the beauty of the leaves and the fields. If you get a chance, stop by Sugar Creek and vote for your favorite picture.

National Men Make Dinner Day is observed in November and encourages men to cook dinner for their families. We have a wonderful Kitchen staff and we appreciate them every day but wanted to give a shout out to the men who work tirelessly to make our meals delicious. From prep to clean up, here are a few of our “men of the kitchen“.
