LASER FOR IMPROVED SKIN TEXTURE, SCARS AND WRINKLES
The Lumenis M22 ResurFX laser is a nonablative fractional laser. The laser is broken into tiny narrow beams that tunnel into skin, creating controlled microscopic injuries that trigger a healing response, including a boost in collagen and elastin. The results are a tighter, more even textured skin with less wrinkles. A topical numbing cream is applied to the skin prior to the laser beam passing over the treatment area. It’s not uncommon to experience swelling and mild scabbing 2-4 days following treatment and redness and sensitive skin for up to five days after treatment.
