County Recovery Resources Network

County Recovery Resources Network CoRRN's mission is to provide network and develop a continuum of recovery services in Lewis County WV.
(1)

CoRRN is simply a group of local people, including psychologists, doctors specializing in recovery, life/health/recovery coaches, and other local people, who want to see Lewis County come together using resources we currently have to help make our community a healthier, safer place to live. We want to reduce stigma that is associated with recovery. We have a monthly meeting, open to the public, every first Sunday at 6:00 pm at 148 W.2nd Street, Weston, WV. We want to network with other resources to help people be empowered to heal and overcome obstacles that can stand in the way of recovery. We believe respect and kindness is a basic necessity and will delete obscene language and bullying comments as seen by the administrators.

CoRRN participated in the annual Children's Health Fair at Mon Health on October 25, 2025. We handed out Narcan, candy and popcorn balls to those attending. Then we supported the Fall Festival at the Pricetown Fire Department to support their blessing box ministry. We gave out candy and recovery information, painted pumpkins, listened to live bands and had a great time!! Come to one of our meetings, or if your Lewis County organization is planning an event and would like to find out more about CoRRN setting up a table supporting recovery or if you would like one of our members to talk, just email or. message us!

Open Mic at Sweet Espresso Saturday, November 8! 5-7 pm. Come out and read a poem, sing a song, buy a coffee or tea.

Update: 11:40am - FOOD IS ALL GONE! Thanks, everyone.

** Special Food Distribution: Monday, November 3rd from 9am - Noon or until the food is gone.

Open to Lewis County families. Shelf-stable food boxes weighing approximately 30lbs - one per family. Families will be asked to provide basic household information.

Please do not line up before 9:00am, and do not block the CVS entrance or drive-thru.

Food provided by Mountaineer Food Bank and delivered to Weston by WV National Guard. This special distribution will not impact our regularly scheduled food distributions this month; they will continue as scheduled.
....

During this special food distribution, we will be unable to take phone calls with questions, due to needing "all hands on deck" for this short-turnaround event.

FAQ:

** Yes families can carpool together. Each family present can receive one food box.

** This is the only location for food distribution on November 3rd via the FRN.

** Yes, we will have to complete a brief form onsite with verbal questions to families - similar to the one families complete during the mobile food distribution at the Jackson's Mill airstrip.

** No, ID is not required. Proof of receiving SNAP is not required. Proof of not receiving a paycheck due to the Government shutdown is not required.

** Yes the turkey giveaway by A&S Recovery is still happening this week - see comments for details. We are not organizing the turkey giveaway, just helping spread the word about it!

** No, the National Guard will not be onsite Monday - just the smiling faces of the staff and volunteers you're used to seeing when you visit the FRN! 🙂 Many thanks to the National Guardsmen who delivered the food to us over the weekend.

** Those who can not make it to this special distribution are welcome to sign up for regularly scheduled food pantry services. We feed up to 1,150 Lewis Countians on a regular basis, every month.eo
