The AndaMEDS team recently had the privilege of joining Kids In Distress (KID) for their annual Halloween Bash.

We dressed up, brought treats, and spent the day spreading smiles and seasonal cheer with some truly amazing kids.

On September 12, Anda volunteers teamed up with Feeding South Florida and other local companies for the 365K Corporate Meal Packing Challenge. It was a morning full of energy, teamwork, and purpose. Together, we inspected, sorted, and packed 37,355 pounds of food, which will help provide 30,350 meals for families in our community.

A big thank you to Feeding South Florida for leading the way, and to our volunteers for showing up and making a real difference. We’re proud to be part of this ongoing effort to fight food insecurity.

Emotional intelligence and communication are at the heart of effective leadership, and horses are wonderful teachers.

During a recent team-building session with Equine-Assisted Therapies of South Florida, Inc., we explored how we manage emotions and communicate under pressure. Designing and navigating an obstacle course for horses gave us a hands-on opportunity to learn about clarity, empathy, and trust in action.

We’re grateful to EATSF for sharing their mission and methods with us. Their work empowering individuals with special needs through equine-assisted activities is truly inspiring.
