THERE'S STILL TIME TO REGISTER!

This YMHFA training is offered free of charge through a collaboration between Positive Directions-The Center for Prevention & Counseling, Wilton Youth Council, and Catalyst CT | The Hub.

Participants will be asked to complete 2 hours of self-paced online work prior to attending the in-person training date. Information & a link to the online materials will be sent out ahead of time to those who register.

Space is limited to 30 participants. A light lunch will be provided.

According to a Fact Friday post on the The Drug Report by the Smart Approaches to Ma*****na, an estimated 32% of the 64.2 million Americans aged 12 and older who used ma*****na in 2024 met the criteria for cannabis use disorder (CUD). That translates to roughly 20.6 million people—comparable to the population of New York State. Meanwhile, a profit-driven industry continues to develop and aggressively promote increasingly potent products, contributing to rising addiction rates and significant disruptions in people’s lives.

Hey Norwalk - be sure to swing by the Positive Directions table at this weekend's huge mental health fair! You can paint a rock, meet some of our counselors, and/or fill out a brief survey to check in on your emotional health and discuss the findings with a counselor -- for free.
