Muffin Mondays and Soup Saturdays?! Yes please. Having some kind of rhythm or flow with food that my kids can join in on has been the best every season, but definitely more so in the fall and winter!
Having a plan or even just a list of ideas of what you want to do (and need to do) for this season can help unload thoughts that seem to be floating in your mind. Halloween costumes, put away summer clothes, carve pumpkins, pick apples, holiday prep, clean xyz. Having seasonal goals can help keep you focused and organized.
REST. Watch a show with your kids so they can see you need rest too. Set a timer for everyone to do a quiet activity together or separately. Close your eyes.
Books outside, snacks outside, watch plants change outside. Early morning and early evening light are so benefits for everyone’s sleep rhythms.
WARM your body inside and out. You might even consider changing your skin care routine to add something with a little more luxury and oomf like steam or warm towels. Wrap yourself and your littles up in coziness.
