The Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce that its new member, Specs of Fairfield has scheduled its official ribbon cutting for Monday, July 11, at 5:00PM.

Specs of Fairfield is excited to announce its relocation to downtown Fairfield at 1555 Post Road. In addition to celebrating the relocation of the Fairfield store to the Post Road Specs is also celebrating 30 years of business within the Fairfield community.

Owner Chris Cannella started in eyewear in 1980 before opening up his first location in Fairfield in 1986. In August 1999 he expanded his business to Westport and then to Darien in June 2005. Specs has been providing quality eyewear and impeccable service in Fairfield County in addition to giving back along the way.

Specs maintains its reputation within the eyewear and philanthropic communities supporting various causes such as Eyes for the Needy, Near and Far Aid, Pink Aid, Norma Pfriem, and most recently with its partnership with Fairfield Theater Company.

Please join us in celebrating the opening of the downtown Fairfield location. Refreshments will be provided; the ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 5:00PM.
