As our President, Deb Faruggio, was out delivering PPE supplies to Task Home Care Services caregivers,she passed by The Cornerstone Church in Oxford, CT. Church members where outside with tables of packaged food and a sign -free food. Upon stopping, she introduced herself and said she knew clients and essential caregivers who would benefit from their generosity.

Within minutes, she had 70 bags in her care which contained, food, masks and toilet paper. Upon arriving at home, she contacted her staff and a list of clients and caregivers was comprised.

Sunday afternoon and Monday Task staff delivered these care packages of food , fruit and toilet paper - to supplement the food reserves of our clients and essential workers .

Task Home Care Services would like to thank the Cornerstone Church.

Their commitment to community, enabled Task to share these care packages with over 40 clients and essential workers in Waterbury ,Danbury. Norwalk, Bridgeport, Stratford, Ansonia, Middlebury, Naugatuck and Oakville.

On Saturday, our President Deb Faruggio was out delivering PPE supplies to the caregivers. As she was driving she passed by a Church with tables of packaged food. Upon stopping, she introduced herself and said she know people who would benefit from their generosity.

Within minutes, she had 70 bags containing food, masks and toilet paper in care. upon arriving home she contacted her staff and a list was comprised. These care packages supplemented the food reserves of our clients and essential workers .

THE ONLY FLAG THAT DOESN'T FLY

Between the fields where the flag is planted, there are 9+ miles of flower fields that go all the way to the ocean. The flowers are grown by seed companies. It's a beautiful place, close to Vandenberg

AFB.

Check out the dimensions of the flag. The Floral Flag is 740 feet long and 390 feet wide and maintains the proper Flag dimensions, as described in Executive Order #10834.

This Flag is 6.65 acres and is the first Floral Flag to be planted with 5 pointed Stars, comprised of White Larkspur. Each Star is 24 feet in diameter, each Stripe is 30 feet wide.

This Flag is estimated to contain more than 400,000 Larkspur plants with 4-5 flower stems each, for a total of more than 2 million flowers.

A Happy and Healthy New Year to All!
While we cannot take that Quantum Leap as seen above; we can all start the New Year with a few tips to consider for bettering your overall health; both physically and mentally.
1-Exercise for 10 minutes a day.
2-Revisit an old pastime/hobby you enjoyed.
3-Revive an old friendship.
4-Make a conscious effort to socialize; volunteer where you would like to make a difference in another's life.
5-Be conscious of your menus, especially those desert choices .
