Hi there, I’m Lindsay!
I am a CT Licensed Clinical Social Worker, dedicated to treating children, adolescents, young adults, and their families with substance use, mental health disorders, and those who have experienced trauma. I completed my undergraduate degree in Creative Arts Therapy from Endicott College in Beverly, MA, and my graduate degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University in New York, NY.
I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and DBT-Prolonged Exposure for PTSD through the founder of DBT, Marsha Linehan, Ph.D.’s institute; Behavioral Tech, LLC. DBT is a mindfulness-based therapy model designed to teach people to cope with stress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships with others. I bring to my practice a systemic and holistic approach, to empower my clients to live a fulfilling and balanced life.
I am currently expanding my practice and accepting referrals!
My office is located at The Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Health in Westport, CT. Although, I am currently offering telehealth. I provide individual and group Dialectical Behavior Therapy in a warm, health-oriented, and serene environment.
If you have a referral that you would like to send my way give me a shout!
Be well,
Lindsay
