Our gorgeous orchard has been blanketed in snow lately. Deep red branches twinkle in the winter sun while the bushes exhale into their season of deep rest.

The bright white of the orchard is quite the contrast to the rich blue of our frozen blueberries that we’re still snacking on! Which has me thinking...

Have you ever eaten store-bought blueberries and had your mouth turn blue? (We haven’t! Go try it.)

But our berries? Snack on a handful and your tongue & teeth turn deep blue! (Temporarily, don’t worry.) That’s anthocyanins at work - powerful antioxidants that support heart, brain, and eye health while reducing inflammation.

The color and flavor of a food speak volumes about its nutrition. If you’ve tasted our berries, you know just a couple right off the bush pack more flavor than a whole pint that’s been riding in a truck for days after being picked well before peak ripeness.
