Roberts & Hart Funeral Home We at Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, are dedicated to giving the most meaningful service possible to o John France Roberts. Mr. Button Reed and Mr. Darrell Roberts.

Roberts Funeral Home was established in 1913 after the business was purchased from the Crocker family by Mr. The business operated under the name of Roberts Undertaking until 1918. White McCaleb purchased the business in 1918 then sold it to the Culver Family who operated the business under the name Reed-Culver until 1928. France Roberts purchased the business back from Mr. Lawrence Culver in 1928 after purchasing the Westville location from them in 1925. He operated the businesses under the name of Roberts Funeral Home with Mr. They worked together until France’s death in 1963. Darrell Roberts purchased the businesses in 1963 from the J.F. Roberts estate and ran both firms as a family business. In 1972, the two sons of Darrell and Mary Roberts were made partners having completed Mortuary School in Dallas and getting their Funeral Director/Embalmers License. David was made manager at Westville and Larry at Stilwell. In 1994 the Stilwell business moved to its current location at 801 W. Locust. David Roberts was made manager of both locations. The employees of these Funeral Homes are dedicated to giving the most meaningful service possible to our families and we use the best products available to accomplish this. Our facilities are modern and we have a wide range of services. We also provide Services of Remembrance for direct burials or cremations, and we provide a contract burial for the Cherokee Nation. We have a very modern fleet of vehicles and other equipment and provide Pre-Arranged Funeral Services with three licensed agents through Funeral Directors Life Insurance Company to allow us to provide the best for our families. It is our aim to be the best in our field; to help accomplish this goal we have two licensed Funeral Directors on call twenty-four hours a day. Each year we sponsor community events consisting of our Memorial Day event at the Stilwell City Cemetery, providing a dinner for cancer survivors during the annual Relay For Life rally, and our annual Tree of Life Memorial Service at our Stilwell location. This service is for our families from both of our locations who have lost loved ones over the past year. We also open it up to the public to place an ornament on the tree in remembrance of any loved one they may have lost in the past. We have inspirational singing, a message of comfort and refreshments follow. Our employees are active in civic organizations that include: Soroptomist, Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and volunteer for a local hospice organization. Our employees are also active in their respective churches including: First Christian Church and New Life Church in Stilwell.

Grief doesn’t move on a timeline and neither does healing.

Even in seasons of loss, something new can begin quietly, gently, and in its own time.

Wherever you are today, may you find comfort in knowing that hope still has room to grow.
