As I look back over this past year, I am reminded of how magical it feels to be part of our little community. Next on our line-up for Sunday, readings with Lynette Peterson. A reading often involves seeking guidance or insight into the future or present. Historically, seers are individuals who could see beyond the ordinary, often interpreted as a spiritual ability. In modern times, the concept of a seer can be linked to tarot readers, astrologers, or others who offer insights into various aspects of life.

As a Pastoral Counselor, Lynette is also a mental health professional who integrates spiritual and religious resources with psychological methods to help clients. She addresses life challenges and emotional or spiritual well-being by blending theological training with clinical expertise, focusing on the connection between a person’s faith and their mental/emotional health.

Rev. Lynette Peterson is an ordained Universalist Reverend who can refrence many faiths due to her expanding studies of religion. Therefore making her uniquely equipped to provide holistic care that respects a client’s beliefs and values.

While “seer” can simply mean someone with foresight, a tarot-reading seer combines this gift with the cards as a tool for guidance. Lynette’s readings see beyond the ordinary and are designed for self-discovery. She offers insights into various aspects of life.

As a Reiki Master/Teacher her practice incorporates Reiki as a tool for Healing with energy and light.

Before Covid Lynette held community sound healing circles which incorporates the sound and vibration of each participants voice. As the group sits in a circle they begin by humming and expand into toning. The vibrations created pe*****te the person receiving inspiring mental clarity, peace and healing. This practice has inspired spontaneous healing of serious medical issues.

When we say tattoos, we’re talking real ones! Meet Sarah, our talented tattoo artist and Wethersfield local who will be joining us Sunday 11-2.

Sarah is a tattoo artist at Timeout Tattoos in Rocky Hill. She specializes in whimsical, floral and lettering style tattooing. She describes her style as illustrative, because it’s like what you’d see in a storybook or lovely greeting card. Sarah primarily works in black & grey, though color is always a welcome diversion. Fun facts: Sarah is a mother, gardener and a coffee aficionado. She has two dogs, a small flock of parakeets and lots of houseplants.

Check out the flash sheet to pick your design in advance. Tattoos will be 1-3 inches in size and between $50-150. You can’t beat that! Tattoos are first come, first served so make sure you stop by early to grab your spot!
