I don't typically consider myself a morning person by any stretch of anyone's imagination. With one now in high-school with an early morning drop off and an hour before the need to be to work, I've found myself deeply grateful and enjoying the early morning beauty. Happy (almost) Fri-yeah!

Labels change and people change.
Love is always love.

It just is .

Back in the early 2000s, MySpace gave an option for sexual orientation. It was the first time that I had ever even thought about this. Bisexual. Without hesitation. Within days, the s**t storm began. I wasn't a good Christian. I was I fact, A bad person and role model. My soul was in question. Who was I. What did this mean....why did this make a difference....

What did this all mean. Checking a box that actually made sense for me caused a series of events that I didn't even know would be a Thing.

And yet. Here I was. Trying to explain.

Here I am now, not caring to explain as it doesn't change who I am.

It never did. And it never will.

A label can be changed, erased, and moved. And yet, I still am. Me. The labels are irrelevant. Yet not.

Please take the fear out of labels. Take labels out of the questions...

Put the courage back in for those willing to take a stand about how they feel.

Authenticity is beautiful.

Labels are removable and we are limited time only.
People aren't removed from our hearts. Don't remove yourself from yours.
Love is Love.
Period.

Grief. This is an emotion (series of them, even), that we truly need to dive into. The amount of growth that I've experienced from losing my mom has been enormous. Although I would love to be able to hug her again, have lunch, go shopping as she liked to do again, I wouldn't trade any of it. She's where she needs to be and so am I. Growing. I Miss you mom.

Since mom died back in early November I've been very quiet. It's been challenging for me to reach out. I've gotten some flack, or grief, haha, for it. Ok. I see you. Grief is a difficult space for many of us to sit in. And sit I will. And move I will. And be myself I will. Mom wouldn't have wanted anything any other way and I agree. And even since then, so much has happened. I'm growing and healing more every day, even when all I feel I do is cry. If you know, you know. If not ask. I truly feel that these are the times when story telling brings the most important gifts. Love you 💗

Don't confuse power with leadership. The wise don't need to have power (over others) to lead. They show the way by example. They focus on reducing hatred, ignorance, anger and fear. They understand the wisdom of compassion and the power of love.
