We are saddened to share the peaceful passing of Maurice “Maury” Bodeau, a man whose life was defined by hard work, humility, and deep devotion to his family.

Maury is survived by his beloved wife, Phyllis, his sons, Ronald and Jeffrey (Anastasia), his grandchildren, Georgia and Grant, and his sister, Loretta (William). Together with Phyllis, he built a life and legacy rooted in love, perseverance, and quiet strength.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

James “Jimmy” Robert Smith, 57, of Newington, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, surrounded by his family. A lifelong Hartford resident, Jimmy dedicated his career to the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch, where he was known for his strong work ethic and close bonds with colleagues.

He enjoyed reading, traveling, cooking, and was a devoted Star Trek fan. Proud of his Irish heritage, he especially loved attending the Hartford St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Jimmy will be remembered for his kindness and generosity.

We are saddened to share the passing of Dolores “Dory” Ann MacDowell, 79, of Bloomfield, formerly of Wethersfield, who passed away peacefully at home on March 12, 2026, with her loving husband by her side.

Dory dedicated over 30 years of her life as a Registered Nurse at St. Francis Hospital. She will be remembered for her compassion, devotion to her family, and the care she gave to so many throughout her career.

Dory also found joy in travel, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and her love of dogs. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
