John E  Moyer, MEd, LPC, NCC Psychotherapy John is a full time practicing psychotherapist specializing in abuse and neglect. He was a full time psychotherapist at Family Resources 2004-2013.

He sees adults with a history as a victim of physical, sexual or emotional abuse or neglect as children. He does play therapy with children who have been abused or neglected. He has worked with Non-Offending Parents with children who have been abused or neglected. Before that, he worked at Mercy Behavioral Health for 7 years, supervising up to 10 Mobile Therapists and Therapeutic Support Staff in a Wraparound Program focussing on behavioral strategies for parents and their children. He briefly performed clinical work as an outpatient therapist at their North Hills office, as well as administrative duties such as completing time sheets for payroll, interviewed, hired and terminated employees. He also worked as Behavior Specialist Consultant and started as Therapeutic Staff Support visiting families in their homes. He is currently working on a memoir related to his experience with misattributed parentage or NPEs.
