Cray Physical Therapy Weymouth

Cray Physical Therapy Weymouth We are Hiring! Cray Physical Therapy patients are a top priority when it comes to the treatment programs that we offer.

We provide personalized outpatient care with skilled physical therapists specializing in orthopedic, sports, pelvic, and vestibular rehabilitation to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and help patients achieve their therapy goals. Our therapists have over 45 years of combined experience treating orthopedic and sports related injuries. We make sure our patients are evaluated and treated by the same licensed therapist they see on the first visit. Every treatment session is one hour in length and we always provide our patients with one to one care. Each therapist is trained to evaluate a patient's condition in order to develop the perfect plan for recovery. Whether a patient is recovering from an injury, needs to reduce or eliminate pain, improve mobility and physical ability or just has questions. Our goal in mind is to be our patient's resource for life. If you need physical therapy treatment, visit Cray Physical Therapy at one of our three locations; Braintree, Weymouth and Norwell, MA.

Living With Hip Pain 🚶‍♂️ Does your hip feel stiff when you first stand up? Do stairs, long walks, or sleeping on your side feel harder than they used to?

Hip pain often shows up quietly, until it starts affecting how you move through your day. Physical therapy helps improve hip and joint mobility, strengthen the muscles that support you, and restore smoother, more confident movement. With personalized care, everyday activities can start to feel easier again, not forced or painful. ✨

You don’t have to “push through it.” Physical Therapy can make a difference.

💡 A gentle reminder for our patients (and future patients):
Pain isn’t something you’re meant to “just live with.”

Whether it’s the back pain that greets you every morning, the neck tension that won’t let up, or aches that have slowly become part of your routine, we see you. And we can help. 🤍

At Cray Physical Therapy, we work with people dealing with:
✔️ Back & neck pain that’s limiting daily life
✔️ Recovery after surgery
✔️ Sports and activity-related injuries
✔️ Pelvic pain & core dysfunction
✔️ Those “nagging” aches that never fully go away

Starting care sooner can make recovery smoother and faster, and you don’t have to do it alone.
We’re here to listen, guide, and help you move with confidence again. 💪✨

“Your body still needs motion, even when it’s cold outside.”
Cold weather can make our bodies feel stiff, achy, and slower to get moving. That’s normal. ❄️ But gentle, intentional movement helps keep joints flexible, muscles warm, and pain from settling in.

Physical therapy focuses on safe, supportive movement—the kind that meets your body where it is, even on low-energy winter days. Whether it’s stretching, walking, or simple exercises, small movements can help your body feel more comfortable and confident throughout the season.

You don’t have to do a lot. You have to keep moving; gently, thoughtfully, and with care. 🤍

After surgery, it’s normal to feel stiff, sore, or unsure about moving again. Physical therapy helps guide your recovery by gently restoring movement, rebuilding strength, and reducing swelling and pain, at a pace that’s right for you. Each visit focuses on helping your body heal safely so that everyday movement feels less intimidating over time. 🤍

✨ Why we love this exercise ✨
This single-leg hinge isn’t just about balance; it’s about control, strength, and stability.
✔️ Strengthens the glutes & hamstrings
✔️ Challenges balance and coordination
✔️ Trains the core and pelvic floor to work together
✔️ Improves hip stability for everyday movements
We often use exercises like this in rehab because they mimic real-life reaching, stepping, and lifting, while teaching your body to move efficiently and safely.
Slow, controlled, and intentional movement makes all the difference 💪
